The idea for this cabbage, zucchini, carrot, dumpling soup was stolen from Brian and Ryan, who had made something similar a couple days before. In Austin, we are fortunate enough to have a GIANT asian grocery store way up north. It's truly amazing, and has a gazillion fake meats, sauces, snacks, etc...
WELL, the last time i went there i picked up some veggie broth (sans MSG, which is something you HAVE to watch for in this store). This became the base for this super quick soup. Sauteed up the rest of the veggies in my crisper, dumped them into the broth along with a few frozen vegetable dumplings (courtesy of the same store). A little on the cheating side, but took no time at all, used up some stuff and was delish as hell!
